Today saw the memory of Mrs Celia Mcllvenny and her son John Crellin live on through a charitable donation given to HBOT IOM from historical funds raised by the lovely people at the Old Nobles Hospital Reunion Annual Dinners by organisers Susan Lawley and Elaine Osborne. The donation of £1045.17 was raised by holding raffles at dinners.

HBOT IOM was close to the heart of the then previous organiser, the late Mrs Celia McIlvenny, and a nursing colleague at the hospital, as her son the late Mr John Crellin a TT competitor and an accomplished mountaineer, had received the benefits of treatment in the chamber many years ago.

Susan and Elaine were given a guided tour of the completed facility and were delighted to hand over the cheque to Debbie Barron the Charity Secretary, to support “The Pressure is On “campaign to see a resumption of this vital service on our island in the future.
